Overview

Traveling to the Amazon is to discover the rich biodiversity of the tropical rainforest. Most species of plants and animals live within their mysterious virgin forests, protected in National parks such as the Yasuni and the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Involved with the coexistence of the Kichwa Culture, through its Community Tourism Initiatives, in the Napo River Bank.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
First Day

At 07h00 in the morning the passengers will be received at Fco de Orellana (Coca) land terminal or they will be received at the hotel where the passengers are staying, Then, we will go to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will take the course to the Fluvial dock of The Marina of Fco de Orellana to sail to Sacha Ñampi Lodge, after 4 hours of fast boat ride we will arrive at Sacha Ñampi at 1:30 p.m. After being received by the guide we will take the cabins to leave the luggage. Then we will have a delicious lunch and in the afternoon, we will go to visit the farms of the “comuneros” where you can observe cocoa, coffee, yucca and other fields. Then we will visit the wild plants orchards where we will prepare everything for the next day take so we can reforest the Yasuni. To end the day after dinner we will be part of a cultural dance event of Kichwa commune as a welcome act.

In the morning after breakfast we will take river transport to Yasuni National Park, through Yasuni River you will be able to observe a majestic natural paradise of its flora and fauna. When arriving at Tambocha river entrance we prepare waterway to be attentive to observe hundreds of bird species such as the hoazín, black turkeys, parrots, camungos, locreros, papagallos, Aguja ducks, hawks etc., as several monkey species until they reach the guard of Sacha Ñampi reserve (Alta Florencia) surveillance control of flora and fauna of the Yasuni area where we will do trekking for 30 minutes in order to reforest wild plants such as fruit, wood and medicinal plants. After dinner the student will be part of the elaboration of Chocolate paste and wild fruit cake in the area.

In the morning we will visit the famous pink dolphins who will offer a spectacular game, at the same time, the passenger will have the opportunity to feed these mystical creatures with fish. At midday we will return to Sacha Ñampi to have a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit medicinal plants and learn the benefit and application of their medicinal content. At night, students will have an exchange of experience with the young Kichwas on issues related to their culture, gastronomy, super experience, customs, health, education and agricultural production.

After breakfast, we will pack up to return to Fco de Orellana. During the trip the passenger will taste a delicious box lunch and in the afternoon we will arrive at Fco de Orellana (Coca) end of tour.

HOW DO I MAKE THE RESERVACIÓN?

HOW CAN I CONFIRM THAT FUSION TRAVEL ECUADOR HAS MADE MY BOOKING?

As soon as we receive your booking request (see question1) we will go ahead and make a reservation for you. We will then send an email confirming that your booking has been successfully made – this email acts as your initial booking confirmation.

We also send an e-receipt at time of payment which contains precise details of your booking and acts as final booking confirmation

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?

Fusion Travel Ecuador accept the following payment methods:

USA BANK WIRE – the most convenient method if you have a USA based bank account. We charge a $25 handling fee per transfer in order to cover our costs of transferring the money into Ecuador to pay local suppliers for your tour. Transfers usually take 2-5 working days to arrive into our acocunt.
CREDIT CARD – quick and easy online payments for visa and mastercard cardholders. Credit card processing fees do apply – please ask our staff for current rates.
ECUADOR BANK DEPOSIT OR TRANSFER – deposit cash or transfer locally into any branch of Banco Pichincha, Internacional or Produbanco. This may the best option if you are already in Ecuador.
Most importantly all of our accounts are 100% SAFE & SECURE. All payments are made in the name our company (FUSION TRAVEL CIA. LTDA.). We will never ask you to risk paying into any account registered under a personal name.

WHEN CAN I PAY JUST A DEPOSIT IN ADVANCE, AND WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY IN FULL?

Generally speaking we require a 40% deposit at time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. Full payment is then due 3 months before your date of travel. Of course should you prefer to pay in full at time of booking then that is also no problem.

Only in the case of bookings made less than 3 months before date of travel do we immediately require full payment
