Itinerary

Day 1 :
PICK UP

The departure from Quito city is approximately at 6 am.

We pass through Píntag parish and stop briefly at the park for an explanation. Shortly after, we reach the upper part and come across the Antisanilla lava flow, which originated from one of the craters near Antisana.
We make another stop to take pictures of two lagoons: Tipopugro and Laguna de Secas. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at Tambo Condor Property. The owners of the property are dedicated to the conservation of the Andean Condor. While there, you may observe some species of hummingbirds that have adapted to this altitude, including the Giant Hummingbird

After breakfast and admiring the Isco crag, where several Andean condors rest, you will enjoy the scrubland landscapes and pass by several former haciendas that used to breed Bravo cattle.
A few minutes later, you will come across the old house where the renowned scientist and biologist Alexander Von Humbolt is believed to have stayed for several nights during his expeditions through the Eastern Cordillera.
The Antisana volcano is unmatched, standing at 5,758 metres with a base of 14 kilometres. It is covered in vast blankets of snow and ice at altitudes of approximately 4800 metres above sea level.

Day 4 :
TREKKING

After bathing in the invigorating waterfall, we will visit the Guaycapi restaurant on the Calacalí Los Bancos road at km 52. There, we will enjoy a delicious lunch while admiring the view of the cloud forest and the hummingbird species that frequent the watering holes.

Day 5 :
LUNCH TIME

The local trout is the house speciality, known for its freshness and delicious taste. Guests can also enjoy an optional hike on the Oso trail, watch hummingbirds at the watering holes, and take in the phenomenal view of the Laguna de Secas.

After a magnificent day, we go back to Quito
